This article critically examines the transformation of management system in Ukrainian enterprises amidst the ongoing war and future post-war reconstruction. It highlights that universal solutions remain elusive, emphasizing the urgent need for innovative management approaches. The research systematically analyzes scientific literature, identifying some key challenges faced by Ukrainian businesses. They include security and operational risks, a severe human capital crisis, financial instability, supply chain disruptions, the necessity for digital transformation and innovation, adaptation to regulatory changes, risk management in high uncertainty, psychological adaptation, and the emergence of a new leadership paradigm.
The study stresses that these challenges are interconnected, demanding a holistic, proactive transformation of management. Drawing on international experience, the article proposes a comprehensive set of innovative tools for the Ukrainian context. Recommendations cover optimizing supply chains (local resources, alternative routes), reorienting export markets (domestic focus), accelerating digital transformation, implementing flexible strategic planning, fostering personnel development, and forging strategic partnerships.
Crucially, human resource management is identified as the paramount direction for transformation. This requires developing new competencies for managers and employees, promoting empathetic leadership, and creating supportive environments. Such a focus is vital for immediate adaptation and driving proactive innovation for future recovery and sustainable growth. The article concludes with practical recommendations for implementing these innovations, aiming to enhance the adaptability and resilience of Ukrainian organizations during the transition to peaceful economic development.
