Summary
The relevance of the study is determined by the increasing role of intercultural communication in the context of globalization, digitalization, and European integration processes. The formation of multicultural workforces, the growing international mobility of employees, and the development of transnational business require the improvement of management practices and the enhancement of managers’ intercultural competence. Issues related to assessing the impact of intercultural communication on organizational performance and adapting European intercultural management practices to the domestic environment remain insufficiently studied.
As a result of the research, the main barriers to intercultural interaction were identified, mechanisms for overcoming them were substantiated, and European practices of intercultural management were systematized. A system of quantitative and qualitative indicators for assessing the impact of intercultural communication on organizational climate, labor productivity, trust levels, and the effectiveness of international cooperation was proposed.
The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of applying the proposed approaches to improve HR policy, develop employees’ cultural competence, enhance the effectiveness of multicultural team management, and adapt European management practices in the activities of Ukrainian organizations.
